App Terms

Service provider and scope
MyBodyPath Limited, Irish company number 823059, at 111 Brocan Wood, Monasterevin, County Kildare, W34 CH92, Ireland, provides MyBodyPath. Contact legal@mybodypath.app with a question or complaint about these Terms. For account or product support, contact support@mybodypath.app. These Terms cover the app and connected account services; the App Privacy Notice explains how information is used.
MyBodyPath provides tools for recording food, movement and personal habits. These Terms do not authorize a charge or automatic paid renewal. Any paid offer will explain its price, taxes, billing period, renewal, trial end, cancellation and refund terms before you decide to purchase.
Age, authority and your account
The minimum product age is 13. Ages 13–17 use the teen experience described in the Privacy Notice. If you cannot independently enter into these service Terms under the applicable rules, a person with the required legal authority must agree to the service Terms for your participation. That agreement is separate from each privacy/health choice; it does not make that person the owner of your data. We do not infer contractual capacity merely from a digital-consent age or the adult product threshold of 18.
Provide accurate age, residence and account information. Use a sign-in method you control and keep recovery codes and exported backups secure. Do not access another person's profile, bypass access controls, misuse the service or disclose another person's private records without authority.
Your records and choices
Your records remain yours. Connecting the existing local profile to a verified account requires the explicit Keep this profile choice. Account deletion and local-profile removal are separate. Preferences sync, device-health access, location, photos and exports have their own choices and limitations described in the Privacy Notice.
Suggestions are drafts. Only you choose to add an entry to the Diary or accept a change to your plan; a suggestion does not silently write records or authorize a new provider to receive them.
Estimates and wellbeing limitations
MyBodyPath is not medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care. Food databases, portions, activity readings and device measurements can be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on the app for medication or emergency decisions.
The adult resting-energy estimate uses the Mifflin–St Jeor equation. Activity multipliers, goal adjustments and other planning rules are additional product choices, not all validated by that paper. Your plan explained describes the current rules and limits. Estimates and projected trends do not promise a result. Teen mode does not apply adult weight-loss targets or provide personalized paediatric nutrition targets.
Seek appropriately qualified advice when standard estimates are unsuitable, including because of a health condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding or an eating disorder. Stop using a feature that causes distress and seek appropriate support. The app does not monitor you as an emergency or clinical service.
Availability and changes
Service availability may be affected by maintenance, updates or interruptions. Keep an appropriate backup of records you want to retain. These limitations do not waive your statutory rights or our obligations to protect your information.
We may reasonably restrict access to protect accounts, investigate misuse or comply with law. We explain the reason where appropriate and permitted. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Material changes are explained before taking effect where required; a change requiring a new privacy choice or guardian/platform approval is not accepted merely by continued use.
Consumer rights and disputes
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability, guarantees, cancellation/refund rights or other consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Irish law applies subject to the mandatory protections of the law applicable to you. These Terms do not remove a consumer's right to bring a claim before a competent local court where the applicable law provides that right.
For EU/EEA, UK and Swiss consumers, any mandatory local service-quality, remedy and cancellation rights continue to apply. US consumers retain applicable state and federal rights; there is no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver in these Terms. A wellbeing disclaimer does not waive privacy or consumer rights. Contact legal@mybodypath.app so we can address a question or complaint.
